Experienced striker who suffered relegation from Serie A this season after a dismal campaign with Parma. Budan has spent eights seasons in Italy with eight different clubs before finding a permanent home with Parma in 2006. The 28-year-old has found the back of the net 20 times in 50 appearances, but his seven strikes this term failed to prevent their slide out of the Italian top-flight. Budan is another of Croatia physically imposing strikers, but he featured in only one of their qualifying games and is unlikely to be handed much playing time during the tournament.
